Road restoration work required at Thirumangalam

The stretch of 100 Feet Road between Thirumangalam and Koyambedu is in shambles. The road surface is uneven and dusty. Rainfall makes the road waterlogged and difficult to use. Pedestrians do not have a safe path and most of the time is found walking near speeding vehicles. Recently a road improvement was carried with the help of a bulldozer to prevent rain water stagnation near the Thirumangalam MTC bus stop.

The rains added to the problem making the stretch, slushy, muddy and waterlogged. Motorists have a difficult time driving along 100 Feet Road. Motorists hope that the concerned officials take action to blacktop the road surface at the earliest complete pending Thirumangalam flyover project.
