“India, My Pride, a festival of Indian exuberance, organised at Leo Mat. Higher Secondary School, Anna Nagar West on 5th September 2014, was as an eye opener to young minds. The chief guest for the occasion was Bharat Ratna Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, an Indian scientist and Former President of India. Dr G Velmurugan, Chairman & Correspondent, Leo Matriculation School said, “No doubt, it is in the hands of students who could alone make our former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam’s vision possible if they rise up in one accord towards this ultimate goal of making India, a better India, and the best place to live in”.
Mrs Hepzibah Solomon, Vice Principal who organised the entire show said, “Our whole concern is to bring back the vastness of India’s tradition which is lost in today’s modernity and to remind the youth about India’s diverse resources and make them feel INDIA, MY PRIDE! is all about the festival of Indian exuberance” Leo Matriculation & Higher Secondary School has completed 27 years of service in the field of education. Leo maintains an excellent record in Academia, sports, extra and co-curricular activities.
