Vehicles criss-cross at 3rd Avenue

The center median along 3rd Avenue, Anna Nagar between round tana junction and Shanthi colony main road has been removed. Motorists are now found criss-crossing in a risky manner as there is no proper regulation by the Traffic Police officials. It is a common sight to see cars and bike drivers crossing in a dangerous manner. 

The entire stretch has become an accident prone zone. Pedestrian crossing is almost impossible at this one way wide stretch. Moreover the diversion channel work which is ongoing near the round tana junction, has slowed down traffic movement. The turning from 2nd Avenue towards 3rd Avenue has become too narrow. Let the Traffic Police officials make arrangements to ensure smooth traffic movement and provide regulation facilities along the busy and congested 3rd Avenue stretch.
