Keep a safe distance from tangled cables

The Thirumangalam- Mogappair Road stretch is a vital and busy stretch. A high center median has been constructed to prevent overtaking and traffic movement regulation. One needs to be extra careful while driving near the gaps of the center median. The median gaps along the road have exposed cables which are a risk for pedestrians and motorists.

The motorists said the danger becomes greater at night as motorists will find it difficult to see the wires in the dark. The exposed cables, broken reflectors have been posing a danger to road users for a long time. Something needs to be done and soon, a motorist said. Let the concerned authorities take up immediate measures to rectify the cables menace since they are creating a risk to the vehicle riders.
