Health awareness pamphlets distributed

The 9th World Kidney Day was recently observed in Chennai city. The theme for World Kidney Day 2014 was “Start the day with a glass of water!” Tanker Foundation conducts various activities so that more people are made aware of kidney diseases, its causes and prevention. 

To mark World Kidney Day 2014 pamphlets were distributed along with mineral water bottles at Anna Arch, Anna Nagar. Screening camps and awareness programmes were held during the World Kidney Day week. Tanker Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable trust.

 It was started in June 1993 with the aim of helping under-privileged patients with kidney disease by giving subsidized dialysis and financial support for medication, investigation and transplantation. Tanker Foundation also spreads awareness about kidney disease.
