Appreciation Award for Anna Nagar Western Extension Association

Anna Nagar Western Extension Association was presented with the Best Association Award on 26-02-2014 by Corporation of Chennai for its active role in welfare activities towards its member residents in Division 88 and Division 90 under Zone 7 of Corporation of Chennai. 

The road laying, construction of storm water drains, parks development, garbage removal and eviction of encroachment in pavements were well represented by the Association to the Worshipful Mayor in 2013. The award was presented to the association by Thiru.S. Rajendran, Zonal officer , Zone 7 on behalf of Chennai Corporation to Dr.K.S.Palaniswami, President and Thiru.A. Sudhakar, Treasurer of the Association in February 2014. A free medical clinic is functioning in the association premises. 

The members are also informed on the programmes in the Association`s quarterly news letter. Electronic news letter is also planned.
