Demonstration on use of Electronic Voting Machines

A Parliament Election 2014 Sveep Programme was conducted by Chennai Corporation Zonal Office 8 at Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women, Anna Nagar on 11th March 2014. A model polling booth was set up to give the students a clear idea on the procedure during voting. 

The officials also demonstrated the functioning of the electronic voting machines, how to operate the machines and cast their votes. The election awareness programme was conducted by Mr.Elangovan, Assistant Commissioner Zone-8 and S.Jahannathan, Assessor, Zone-8. The programme organized by NSS Unit I was aimed to raise awareness on voting among the college students.
