Earth Hour 2014

Music composer and singer Anirudh has joined hands with WWF India on 11th March 2014 to pledge his support to Earth Hour 2014 which is a global campaign to raise awareness and inspire individual action on climate change. Speaking on the occasion, Anirudh said that he is honoured to be a part of a global participative campaign such as Earth Hour. 

As citizens it becomes our duty to conserve the resources of Planet Earth, he added. Earth Hour is the largest environment campaign in history and enables individuals, organizations, Governments to show support for policies and practices that balance development and environmental concerns. The message of Earth Hour2014 is to make the switch to renewable energy.

 The mission of WWF India is to stop degradation of the earths natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. Earth Hour 2014 is scheduled for 29th March 2014 between 8.30pm and 9.30pm
