Train service from Anna Nagar to Tambaram

The members of Anna Nagar Western Extension Association had recently visited the Anna Nagar Railway Station premises and wondered about the underutilization of excellent infrastructure facilities in the railway station premises. 

Mr.P.Vadivel, Secretary of Anna Nagar Western Extension Association stated that a pedestrian over bridge on Otteri Nallah from Thendral Colony First Street, connecting Malar Colony in Division 95 of Chennai Corporation Zone-8 could improve connectivity and patronage at Anna Nagar Railway Station. Most of the Anna Nagar area residents are eagerly waiting for the Southern Railway officials to re-introduce the train service from Anna Nagar railway station with direct services towards Tambaram and Velachery.
