Chennai City Police Department is making good use of modern technology to promote and create safety awareness among the general public. Police booths with camera facility are found at busy intersections in Anna Nagar area.
Now, LED information display facility, the first of its kind has been installed at 13th Main Road Police booth.
A similar facility has also been installed at the K4 Police Booth at Chintamani junction. The LED facility displays safety awareness messages for the benefit of the road users.
