4th Avenue Has No Road Lights

4th Avenue connecting East Main Road with Park Road in Anna Nagar Western Extension has not a single
road light post. After sunset the complete street having avenue trees on both sides is lying in darkness. Lack of streetlights along 4th Avenue for many years poses a risk to the road users and area residents.

A street without illumination is unsafe for the road users, especially elders and women. Anna Nagar Western Extension Association has highlighted the problem of no street lights on 4th Avenue for attention and timely action by the Chennai Corporation officials.

The area residents want the Chennai Corporation authorities to provide street lights as soon as possible and dispel the darkness along 4thAvenue stretch in Anna Nagar Western Extension.
