The nutrition programme titled Balamitra is
restarted by Surabi Trust for the academic year 2013-14. This year the trust
has included four schools in the new Corporation Zone-8. Surabi Trust is
distributing nutrition food containing 16 pulse ingredients and jaggery.
Altogether 400 children are daily covered under this programme.
The nutritious
food is healthy for the children and helps them a lot to concentrate on their
studies well. Surabi Trust is a registered charitable Trust found by a group of
socially committed youth in the year 2008. The Trust is established with the
ultimate aim to serve the society. Surabi Trust vision is to provide better
educational opportunities to the destitute children, nurturing them into responsible
