Negotiating 18th Main Road Curve Is Made Safe

Motorists and two-wheeler riders turn fast into 18th Main Road from 100 Feet Road. Pedestrians using the road find it unsafe while walking or crossing the road because of the over speeding vehicles. Since there are no speed-breakers and signals at appropriate places, accidents can take place especially at the corner of the road. Vehicles entering 18th Main Road from 100 Feet Road find it risky negotiating the curve and avoiding vehicles coming from Anna Nagar School Road, Thirumangalam.

As a safety measure a temporary barricade has been placed along the curve of 18th Main Road to prevent accidents and criss-crossing of vehicles. Also pedestrians feel that provision of speed-breakers at the corner of 18th Main Road will go a long way in checking over speeding of motor vehicles.
