Exnora Meeting

The Greater Chennai District Exnora organised a meeting with Kilpauk Exnora Women’s Guild in order to promote home/roof gardening.

On Exnora's request the Dy. Director Horticulture Madhavaram Chennai was kind enough in deputing two Assistant Agricultural Officers attached to T N Horticulture Department namely Mr Suresh and Kalyanasundaram.

The programme was held at Shivalaya apartments. Ms Veeralakshmi, President , Kilpauk Exnora women’s Guild welcome the gathering. Mr K Ramadoss General Secretary North Chennai Dist Exnora introduced the officers to participants besides explaining about the activities of the Tamil Nadu Horticultural Department. Mr R Govindaraj, Joint General Secretary, Exnora International & President Greater Chennai Dist Exnora presided over the meeting.

Mr Suresh and Kalyanasundaram, Assistant Agricultural Officers individually took classes to participants and cleared their doubts. The officers also invited the members to have a look at the Government nursery in Madhavaram to know about the nature of activities.
