In view of World No Tobacco Day-2013, a painting competition was conducted by Youth-Can, Youth Wing of Can-Stop (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain) on 25th May 2013 at Sundaram Medical Foundation, Dr. Rangarajan Memorial Hospital, Shanthi Colony, Anna Nagar. All the children did very creative and colourful drawings and brought out the themes of Smoke Free Homes and Tobacco Prevention very well.
Attractive prizes, certificates and gift vouchers were distributed to the competition winners. Can-Stop was started by Dr.Vijaya Bharathi Rangarajan as a fitting tribute to her husband Dr.S.
