Mogappair East and West roads are getting busier and congested every day. The abundance of highly ranked schools, specialized hospitals and recent influx of IT offices in the Industrial Estates have all catapulted Mogappair into a strategic location for business activities. Most of the roads in Mogappair have been blacktopped and widened.
There are a few electric posts in the middle of the road which are posing a hindrance to motorists and needs to be relocated to a safe spot along the road side. Mogappair residents stated that the TNEB officials should take measures to remove the existing overhead electric post along the roads and lay underground EB lines. A series of measures to improve the traffic situation in Mogappair West and East are currently under way, according to the Chennai City Traffic Police.
