Bata India, the largest retailer and the leader in footwear retail in India, launched a new shoe store in Chennai at Forum Mall, Vadapalani. 

Actress Trisha was also present during the inaugural function.The new format Bata Store offers a complete range of stylish footwear and accessories like handbags & belts. 

Located on the first floor, this store is big in size and in choice, offering thousands of designs for the customers holding the highest volume of merchandise in the city.Commenting on the inaugurating of the new store, Mr. Thomas George Bata, Chairman and Chief Executive Bata said “India is a very important market for Bata. 

He further stated that Bata’s global aim has always been to meet the growing needs of the consumers and we are glad to achieve this objective in the Indian market as well. On the opening of the new store, Mr. Rajeev Gopalakrishnan, Group Managing Director, Bata India Limited said 

“We are pleased to offer  customers this new Bata store which will redefine shoe retailing in Chennai. Bata has continued to focus on improvements in shoe designs through constant research and analysis. 

The footwear collection has been vastly improved during the years with the Company launching trendy and fashionable designs which has been well received by the modern day young customer. These new designs have resulted in earning Bata new customers as well as renewing the support among its loyal customer base.
