Koyambedu Flyover Gets A Makeover

Koyambedu flyover has eased traffic movement to a great extent. The open space below the flyover was misused as a parking spot, cattle shed and dump yard for waste materials. Now the vacant unused space below the Koyambedu flyover is getting a facelift. 

Thanks to the efforts taken by the Highways Department. At present creation of a green garden and flyover painting work is in progress. Earlier the space below the Koyambedu flyover was an eyesore. Today efforts are on to make the space below the flyover more pleasant and clean. Chennai Corporation has planned to turn untidy, unused areas beneath all its flyovers into vibrant public spaces under the beautification scheme.
