Green Garden Below Koyambedu Flyover

 The space under the Koyambedu flyover is getting a green look. The Highways Department has begun work to landscape the vacant open space below the Koyambedu flyover at a cost of Rs. 1.10 crore. 

According to Highways Department officials, similar works are to be carried out under the Padi grade separator. 

It is officially reported that both Padi and Koyambedu flyover facilities were handed over to the State Highways Department by the National Highways Authority of India for maintenance and improvement work. The beautification work is expected to be completed shortly. Work is going on in stages. Koyambedu flyover has eased traffic movement at the intersection of Poonamallee High Road(NH 4) and 100 Feet Road (Inner Ring Road).
