Plea To Shift M-Block Bus Stop To A Spacious spot

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus stop located at M-Block, Anna Nagar East for route number 24A needs to be shifted to a spacious location near Lotus Colony opposite Bougainvilla Park. More over the spot can be made an all route bus stop for buses proceeding towards Broadway, Villivakkam and Perambur.

The present bus stop at M Block is located within a radius of 100m from a traffic signal which is against the traffic rule. There is a center median in the middle of the road. An EB transformer also occupies two thirds of the carriageway. 

These factors lead to a huge bottleneck at the K4 traffic signal junction. To solve the problem, the bus stop can be shifted to the Lotus Colony area. By doing so, Residents of Victory Colony, Krishna Colony and Anna Nagar East will benefit a lot. Let the Metropolitan Transport Officials ponder over this effective solution of introducing an all route bus stop near Lotus Colony and do what is best for the public.
