6th Avenue Requires Blacktopping

Motorists have a tough time driving through 6th Avenue stretch especially from 5th Avenue intersection till K4 Police station signal junction. The road was dug up for laying metro water pipelines and carrying out water supply improvement work.

Though the work is over, the blacktopping of the dug up section has not been done till date. Vehicle riders find it risky to drive along the battered stretch. Pedestrians are finding it inconvenient to cross the road. The area residents stated that 6th Avenue needs urgent repairs since it is a bus route road and has heavy traffic movement throughout the day.

Let the concerned authorities take steps to blacktop the dug up spots along 6th Avenue so that there could be free and smooth traffic movement and the chances of accidents can be avoided.
