It is always better to stop
crime from occurring in the first place, keeping this in mind, a meeting on
safety awareness and crime prevention was held at TMP Colony, Padi by
T3.Korattur Police on 13th April 2013.
Mr.B.S.Venkatesh Kumar, Inspector of
Police (Law and Order) Korattur Police Station highlighted real life incidents
of theft and crime to caution and alert the local area residents.
This was the
36th successful meeting conducted by the Korattur Police team.
During the
meeting, important contact phone numbers of police officials attached to the
Korattur Police station was given to the area residents. The Police-Residents’
Meeting drove home the point that policemen are people's friends. In case of police assistance,
