The Central Committee Meeting of All India Confederation of
OBC Employees Welfare Associations was held on 03.03.2013 at the Income tax OBC
PERAVAI ROOM at Nungambakkam Chennai.
The Meeting was presided by K.Veeramani,
IRS and held in the presence of Income tax P.Vaiyapuri, the patron of the
confederation.
In the meeting the following were unanimously elected as Office
bearers of the confederation for the year 2013-2015. V.T.A. Renkarajhan,
Atomic, Kalpakkam was elected as President and the working President is
K.Viswanathan, L.I.C.. The General Secretary is K.Danasekar, Income Tax and
Treasurer is R.P.Ilango, Syndicate Bank.The Patron of the association is
P.Vaiyapuri,( Income-tax ).
The meeting urged the Central Govt., to provide
Reservation for OBC’s in Promotion, Reservation in private sector, empowering
National Commission for OBCs, issue of orders by the Ministry of DOPT providing
periodical meetings for the OBC Welfare Associations functioning in various
Central Govt., Departments and Public Sector undertakings and grant of other
facilities like providing a room, telephone, computer etc., etc.,. as granted
to Railway, Income tax and Banking sector OBC Associations. It has also been
decided to conduct a Demonstration in front of memorial hall in Third week
of April-2013.
