Anna Arch flyover project is
expected to give excellent results in reducing traffic congestion at the
intersection of Poonamallee High Road and Nelson Manickam Road. Work on the
construction of Anna Arch flyover is going on in full swing along Poonamallee
High Road near Ampa Skywalk signal junction.
The government hopes the flyover
will ease nagging traffic congestion in Poonamallee High Road and Anna Nagar
3rd Avenue. State Highways Department officials stated that the traffic congestion can be minimized
successfully by constructing a flyover near the Anna Arch signal junction.
According to official sources, the State Government has approved an alternative
alignment for the flyover project coming up at the junction of Poonamallee High
Road, Nelson Manickam Road and Anna Nagar Third Avenue intersection.
