Innovative Entrepreneurs Gets Felicitated And Awarded

The Entrepreneur Development Cell of Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women, Anna Nagar had organized an ED Meet on 5th March 2013. On the occasion, three categories of entrepreneur namely, Mr. Kovai Iniyavan for First Generation Entrepreneur, 

Dr. Balaji for Enterprising Entrepreneur and Ms. Sumathi, an artificial Flower Designer, for Artistic Women Entrepreneur were felicitated and awarded. They were chosen for their innovative determination, hard work, service and success in their respective fields. 

The guests of honour were Mr. Srinivasa Raja, MD, Adyar Ananda Bhavan and Ms. Kanni Uvaraj MD, Poorvika Mobiles. More than 350 students accompanied by faculty members from 28 colleges in and around the city attended and participated in the ED interaction meet. 

The Speakers inspired the students with their heart touching success stories which kindled and awakened their skills to render them empowered and self employed. A common thread that ran between the entrepreneurs in their messages was the necessity of the student community to focus on “Self-confidence, hard work, ceaseless efforts and a fixed goal to achieve”.

The interaction between the student participants and the speakers gave a better insight into creative methods of entrepreneurship. At the end of the program many students got inspired to become successful entrepreneurs
