The construction for the Chennai Metro Rail elevated viaduct
between Koyambedu and Ashok Nagar stretch is on in full swing. At present track
laying work is progressing from Koyambedu to Ashok Nagar and a train trail run
would be undertaken soon.
According to Chennai Metro Rail official sources,
elevated stations will come up at Koyambedu, CMBT, Arumbakkam, Vadapalani,
Ashok Nagar-KK Nagar, SIDCO, Alandur (Interchange) and St. Thomas Mount.
