Awareness Campaign Against Foot Board Travel

Koyambedu Traffic Police has installed awareness picture messages at bus stops on the risk involved in foot board travel. In a bid to reduce incidence of footboard travel, MTC personnel would be posted at bus stops and traffic signals in Anna Nagar, Mogappair and CMBT Koyambedu to advise the public, especially the youngsters on the dangers of footboard travelling.

To create better awareness on the dangers of footboard travelling, the Chennai City Traffic police units across the city have been asked to distribute pamphlets in areas that come under their respective jurisdictions. The Traffic policemen would also conducting awareness campaigns in schools and colleges.
