Heavy stagnation of rain water is
always found at the entrance of Anna Nagar West MTC bus terminus and it is not
something new. The problem has been going on for a long time which causes
inconvenience to the bus passengers and MTC crew as well.
The area is muddy and
slushy. Elders, ladies and children have to be extra careful. The water logging
is however more due to the rise in the road level and no proper drainage
facility. Even if the water is pumped out, water will accumulate once again as
it is a low-lying spot. Let the concerned officials take steps to find a
permanent solution to the problem because Anna Nagar West Bus Depot is a busy
transit point.
