RMD Pain & Palliative Care Trust
located at Raghavaiah Road, T. Nagar, has opened a free day care center for
Palliative care and chronic diseases in Government Hospital in Periayapalayam
on 15th August 2012.Dr. Republica Sridhar (Medical Director and
Founder, Trust) stated that the Trust has been providing free home care
treatments at their door steps for the villagers in Periyapalayam for the past
several months.
Volunteers and staff nurses were taken the survey to identity
the palliative care patients under that providing treatment in home care.
She
said that day care center helps patients for advanced check-ups and provide
councelling with relatives of patients. Republica said that Trust taken cares
nearly 40 terminal patients in their 3 auspices centers in Chennai and Madurai
