Drainage Work Undertaken At School Road

The Chennai Corporation is constructing a new storm water drainage system along School Road, Thirumangulam. School Road needs a proper drainage facility, because the entire road gets waterlogged every time whenever there is a shower. 

This new storm water drainage facility which is under construction would prevent water logging on the road. The Anna Nagar Western Extension area residents stated the unfinished storm water drainage facility along Park Road should be expedited at the earliest. 

Anna Nagar Western Extension Association wants he civic authorities to clear encroachments in the waterways connecting Otteri Nullah and cleaning blockages in drains before the onset of monsoon. 

The Association members request the Chennai Corporation officials to provide storm water drains in all roads in W-Block, including D Sector 11th Street and C-Sector10th street. It is reported that Park Road would be re-laid using plastic materials.
