After the one way system, the traffic signal at 6th Avenue and Third Main Road junction, near K4 Police Station now witnesses heavy traffic movement on all directions. This sometimes causes all-round confusion. Long wait at signals makes motorists crazy. But the most painful of all, where traffic has to wait the longest before getting a green signal during rush hour, is the K4 Signal Junction.
An obvious reason for the inordinate delays at these intersections is the high traffic volume. The traffic signals, meant to regulate vehicular movement does not function properly. For a few days, the erratic functioning of traffic signals plagued the road users and the Anna Nagar Traffic Police.
