L.M.Dadha Sr Sec school , Choolaimedu organised a human chain to emphasis safe environment to the public. The students formed a human chain outside the school premises at Choolaimedu to spread the message.
This event was inaugurated by Mr. G. Thangaraj, District Co-ordinator, National Green Corps,Dept of Environment, Govt of Tamil Nadu in the presence of The Principal of the school. NGC teacher along with other teachers coordinated the event.
The event which was conducted in collaboration with Karuna Club and National Green Corps (NGC)to lay emphasis on the fact that animals gets hugely affected by the pollution and noise that the festival causes.
About 100 students from class six to class 10 took part in an initiative aimed at raising awareness about a safe and pollution-less Diwali.
