The condition of the MTH road stretch from Padi to Ambattur is lying in a pathetic state with potholes and huge craters. The road has not been repaired and this has resulted in frequent traffic jams.
The condition of the road has worsened after the recent rains. It is reported that the road is in a very bad shape event till Avadi. Even though traffic has increased so much, nobody cares for the road.
The MTH Road, considered as important rod in Ambattur, has been crying for official attention for many years. The road is narrow and accident-prone because of rise in vehicle movement and traffic congestion. It needs to be widened urgently.
This road according to DMK government records is 150ft. Its even there on the CMDA website. DMK and PMK politicians hold all the encroached land on both sides of MTH road from Padi till Thhiruninravur. Thats why this road is not extended. In places like Canara bank, its not even 40ft. Lets hope Central Government changes and this NH 205/MTH road is properly widened and all encroachers (politicians) are kicked out.
