The Villivakkam Public Library building has been renovated and modernised. In the modern days of Satellite television, Internet and mobile phones, the habit of people visiting to spend valuable time in the libraries to gain knowledge is not declined in a big way.
Every day libraries have a good number of readers and people who come to browse the daily newspapers and magazines.
