New retro-reflective road name display boards have been installed in Shenoy Nagar roads and streets. The Chennai city roads are all set for a major makeover, with the Chennai Corporation installing new stylish retro reflective street name boards along all roads. As part of its city beautification plan, the Chennai Corporation has planned to introduce uniform traffic signage, new gantries with retro-reflective display boards and new boards.
According to the Chennai Corporation sources, the new stainless steel name boards, made of retro-reflective material, are being installed at a cost of Rs.3.75 crore.
