Portraits of Thiruvalluvar and  Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiar, the greatest Tamil poets,  great visionaries who  emphasize the greatness of Tamil language have been painted by the Chennai Corporation next to the entrance gate of the Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School, Pulla Avenue, Shenoy Nagar with an aim to motivate and encourage school students. Artists have painted all the Chennai Corporation school walls
