Velammal Main School, Mogappair campus hosted an awareness seminar for
girls of Std VI – VIII on 18th August, 2018. The guest of honour. Dr.
Arthivelsami PhD., Special educator in improving the child’s ablity and
behavioural issues, conducted the session along with her assistant Ms.
Ranjani Surya Narayanan. They focused on the problems faced by the
adolescents at this period of time. They brought out the difference
between feelings and touches. They also stressed on the importance of
how to handle the strangers, how to mingle with people and how to open
out their feelings to their parents and frankly speak to their close
relatives. The session was practical and informative. The students were
inspired and motivated by the valuable guidelines provided by the guests
of the day.
