A tremendous response to Dr Mu Va programme

Sri Krishna Sweets jointly with Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Thiru Vi Ka Pechu Payilarangam and Dr Mu Va Thirukkural Narpani Sangam organise a program once in every month on ‘Munaivar Mu. Va’ who was a Tamil scholar, author and academician at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore as part of its ‘Naal Thorum Nalathu Seivom’ initiative. Prof Dr. Kamalakkanan in his speech said that it is the 12th program in the series. When I first discussed about organising the programme with Sri Murali of Sri Krishna Sweets we came to a conclusion of conducting 6 programmes of Dr Mu Va and 6 programmes of Sri.Thiru Vi Ka. As there was a tremendous response to Dr Mu Va programme we have extended it to12 programmes with once a month, he said. Sri. Vallam Venkatapathy was a student of Mu. 

Va and had also worked for around 30 years in Pachaiyappas College in Tamil Department. Sri. Vallam Venkatapathy was praised by Arignar Anna and Kavignar Kannadasan for his poems. Prof Pa. Damodaran in his speech welcomed Sri Vallam Ganapathy who had been a student of Dr. Mu Va and had come to share his experiences.Prof. Poet Sri. Vallam Venkatapathy, former Head of Department (Tamil), Pachaiyappa’s College was felicitated with Munaivar Mu Va Thamizh Arignar Virudu by Sri. Rajasekaran, Advocate and Chartered Accountant in presence of the chief guest Thirukkural Mamani Prof Pa. Damodaran. Joint Secretary, Dr MU Va Thirukkural Narpani Sangam. Prof Pa. Damodaran spoke about ‘Nandavanam Thorum Tamizh Solai’ jointly organised by Sri Krishna Sweets at more than 20 parks in Chennai.Prof. Poet Sri. Vallam Venkatapathy said he could not succeed in his intermediate examination but was considered for admission in Pachaiyappa’s College by Dr. Mu. Va mainly for his good score in Tamil language. He also in his speech showed a letter return by Dr Mu. Va to him. He narrated an incident about him writing a letter to Dr Mu Va for recommendation and how Dr Mu Va had replied to it giving the real status of the job.
