Positives 2017, an exhibition of around 200 photographs, capturing travel, nature and other genres, beautifully shot by students of the Department of Visual Communication of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, was inaugurated on 6th March 2017 at the Lalit Kala Akademi.Film industry veteran, National Award-winning art director and production designer Mr. Sabu Cyril declared the exhibition open. Dr. Lalitha Balakrishnan, Principal of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, welcomed the gathering.Positives also feature a compilation of snapshots of students shot throughout the year. This section of the exhibition features portraits, monuments, landscapes, lifestyles, symbolic representations and many other images celebrating cultural, racial and geographic diversity of India.The exhibition is will be on view for the public at the Lalit Kala Akademi till 12th March 2017 from 10.30 am and 6.30pm.
