Mr.K.Vishwa,Secretary ,WILLAGE - NGO (Welfare Initiative for the Land,Labour And Green Eco System) has supplied 3500 seeds to Eco club students of Chettinad vidhyasram school,chennai with an instruction to grow the seeds using the thrown away plastic carry bags in their home itself as a part of their PET TREE project.
With the coordination of ARIVUKKAN science magazine & NGC all the seeds were taken care by students and 3500 grown saplings were handed over to school in the presence of Mr.Koteswaran, General Manager, HCL Technologies. These Neem,Badam,Ashoka and Thepesia plants will be given to public and schools on request. Mrs.Amuthalakshmi,Principal appreciated the efforts of the children and project marks will be awarded for the students who get involved in this PET TREE project.
