A Mega Yoga event was held in Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mugappair West, in celebration of the 2nd International Yoga Day on 19th June 2016. Swami Sarvika from Isha Foundation was the chief guest. More than 1000 parents participated in a Mass UPAYoga Session. “The goal was to create awareness among the parents and students on the importance of health. The school is celebrating this year as YEAR OF HEALTH”, said the Principal.
