Saveetha University Chancellor Dr N M Veeraiyan was presented an award for his contribution to the field of education by Rotary Club of Chennai Carnatic recently. The awards were presented to people who were doing extraordinary work as visionary and dedicated leaders in their communities.Veeraiyan was presented the award for his extensive contribution to society in the field of education. Speaking after receiving the award, Veeriayan highlighted the importance of accepting challenges in life and said that a small spark was needed to take on big challenges in life He also said that all youngsters should look to a larger canvas in life.Rotary International District 3230 governor C R Raju praised Veeriayan and said he served as an inspiration.
