Students of Periyar Maniammai University, Kumaraguru College of Technology and Thiagarajar Polytechnic College were toppers in the 'IET-16', a State-level paper presentation contest for engineering and diploma students, organised by Recruitment Analysis Council (RAC) at Hindustan University. About 84 engineering colleges, six universities and four polytechnic college participated in the event. It is said such events play an important role in shaping the overall career of a student.
