Velammal’s disaster management workshop

In tune with the intensely competitive times, Velammal gears its students to face any difficult situation that they need to face in this world. Keeping this in view and in connection with INTERNATIONAL FIRST AID DAY which falls on 12th September, it organized two days JRC First Aid Training workshop in its campus on 27th & 28th July 2015 .

The amazing fact is that 1111 students of class VI, VII & VIII participated with great enthusiasm. and prepared themselves for St.John’s Ambulance Badge. The response of the students was overwhelming that they are ready to portray the skills what they learnt in the workshop. Besides being a certificate course , it inculcates in them the fervor of service . The students of Velammal have carved a niche for themselves by being the state , district and the centum rank holders in the X and XII Board exams. Its spearheading progress in every realm puts it on the fore front of National and International agenda.
