Eye camp and tree planting Successfully conducted

A number of green saplings were planted during a tree planting drive on 26th July 2015 at Srinivasapuram, Foreshore Estate. The environmential friendly campaign to promote greenery was jointly conducted by CSI St.Lukes Church and Yora Dora Foundation. The first sapling was planted by Rev.Y.Sailas Gnanadoss, Sheeja J.Kumar,Founder of Yora Dora Foundation, C.S.I Middle School Head Mistress Mrs.Edith and Lay Preacher Ebenesor. 

They planted tree saplings at different locations together with the assistance of the local area residents who pledged to care for the saplings planted.An eye screening camp was also conducted by MN Eye Hospital. This camp to improve the vision of the poor people was organised by Yora Dora Foundation. The service oriented activities rendered by Sheeja, Founder of Yora Dora Foundation based at Balaji Nagar, Padikuppam was greatly appreciated by everyone present at the eye camp.
