A new granite stone divider will be soon placed along 3rd Avenue in Anna Nagar East. Earlier the center median was removed for construction of the channel diversion tunnel along the 3rd Avenue stretch. After the dug up road was blacktopped the wide road became a risky zone at residential street intersections.
Traffic police had placed temporary barricades to avoid accidents and regulate vehicle traffic movement. Already the stones are placed and the new divider will be soon completed along 3rd Avenue in Anna Nagar East.
