Promoting Reading in a Big way

‘Read for the future’. A Mega Reading Session emphasizing the need to inculcate the reading habit among the future generations was held on the 31st  January,  2015 at Velammal  Matriculation Higher secondary school, TS Krishna Nagar,Mogappair.  The Mega event with the objective of young learners – listening to Read, To be better Readers had  1172 students of Std.IX   and Std XI reading a story to 1172 Kindergarten children.  The occasion was graced by Mrs. Sarasa Ashok, Trainer & Co-founder of Budding Minds International school.  The children were motiviated through her speech and a dance that symbolised the first steps in reading.
