22nd TANKER Annual Charity and Awards distribution

TANKER Foundation's 22nd Annual Charity and Awards Nite was held on Sunday, 25th January 2015 . The Krishnan Ang TANKER Foundation Endowment Lecture was delivered by Dr. K.V. Johny, a renowned nephrologist.He spoke on “Pioneering Contributions to Nephrology”.Chief Guest Sri. Dr. Radhakrishnan IAS Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamilnadu said that the government especially in Tamilnadu was now focusing on  non communicable diseases and a lot had been achieved with the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme.

The Muthoot M. George Memorial TANKER & Kerala Kidney Research Foundation Young Investigator Award for outstanding research done in the field of Nephrology in India was awarded to Dr. Sreejith Parameswaran.The Renny Abraham TANKER Foundation Love for Service Award for a medical doctor who has gone beyond the call of duty in serving the underprivileged was awarded to Dr. Sunder Subramaniam.The La Renon TANKER Foundation For the Sake of Honour Award given to Dr. K.V.
