Painting and slogan competitions for school children

Dignity Foundation Chennai Chapter celebrated World Elders Day on 11th October 2014 at B.K.R Convention Center. The event took off to a great start with painting and slogan competitions for school children on the topic, "Grandparents". The quiz conducted by Quiz Master Mr.V.V .Ramanan for teams of grandparent and grandchild kept everybody hooked.

The main event focused on re-launching the helpline through Anecdotal Evidence where two seniors presented their grievances. Madras High Court, Former DGP,Ms. Letika Saran and Senior Journalist, Mr.Ramalingam gave their opinion on the case and the discussion was moderated by Senior Advocate, Mr.Raza Narayanan who also assists our Legal Clinic. The memories of the day will surely imprint in the minds of the kids about the importance of senior citizens and their responsibility towards them.
