Educational Scholarships distributed to encourage children

Education Scholarship distribution function for the multiple marginalized Children was conducted on 11th October 2014 at Indian Community welfare Organisation( ICWO), Anna Nagar West, Chennai. The programme was organized by ICWO with the support of Swiss India Trust. The program was inaugurated by Hon’ Justice K.Gnanaprakasam, Former Judge, High Court of Madras. While welcoming the gathering, Dr.M.Baskaran, President of ICWO, said Education is a rope that can carry us to greatness. It is one of the most important things in life, he added.

Mr.V.G.Jayaraman, Director, Leo Matriculation Hr. Sec. School & President Rotary Club of Chennai Gemini, Mr.H.Ramesh Kumar, EDEN Pharma, Chennai, and Ms.Keina, International Placement Student awarded the scholarships. Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Secretary, ICWO quoted educational scholarship expects the children to utilize the opportunity successfully for their excellent career. Ms.Kiana, International Placement student, stated that education of children is the greatest investment in life. Education is much more valuable than the most expensive jewels or gold, she added Mrs.Devika Thilak, Deputy Director-Ti project, ICWO proposed the vote of thanks.
